Hi MOMS,
After our fabulous experience riding Segways with Go Tours Canada in the distillery district this past summer, I knew I had to ride again! When I found out they had another Segway experience at Ontario Place, I jumped at the chance!
I know you enjoyed watching my stories/highlights of the day and our experience, so here’s a rundown of how it went:
Arriving at Ontario Place brought back such fond childhood memories. It’s been a hot 20 years since I was last in the area, and so much has changed.
I was immediately blown away by the views of the lake. It was an absolutely beautiful day to ride and we had a great time!
I brought our friends, Carly and Joe to join us on this unforgettable Segway experience!
Our first stop was getting suited up for our Segway gear (hairnet + helmet) and then choosing our vehicle!!
Then our trusty instructor, David gave us a thorough run-through of the proper operation of the Segway. David was AMAZING!!! Such a great enthusiastic instructor!!
We each practiced getting on and off the Segway and learned how to stop and turn – operational basics!

Truthfully, I was behind the group because I was so in awe of what I was seeing: the views, sounds and people.
It was a truly great visual experience. I also felt so free and relaxed during the ride.
