My Review of Rent frock Repeat:

I recently had the pleasure of attending a fitting party with my girlfriend, Carly at Rent frock Repeat.

I went into the experience not knowing exactly what to expect. I was so pleasantly surprised from the time that we arrived at their new Commerce Court – downtown Toronto PATH location. We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the facility. I really liked how they organized the store – ensuring the colour layout of the dresses stood out – it was easy to see the beauty and workmanship of each piece.

The stylists took our measurements and came back in no time with an array of dresses (cocktail + ballgowns) that fit our bodies and personalities. My friend Carly, is super fit and looked amazing in so many dresses!! You can tell by the way she naturally posed that she felt confident and comfortable!!

I was so thrilled that RfR carries designer dresses in PLUS SIZE! You heard me right ladies!! I was shocked! I’ve literally been to many designer stores only to leave empty handed and money still in my wallet. I’ve always wondered WHY designers don’t feel the need to make beautiful clothing for ALL women – but I digress. You can imagine how happy I was when presented with beautiful dresses in gorgeous colours (think sparkly blue and green):

and with the designer tag of Badgley Mischka – without the designer cost!

I really felt like a princess wearing the dresses. I was able to move freely and felt truly beautiful. It was interesting as well to see the reactions from many MOMS in my group who were surprised that designer options for plus sized women exist!

That’s the beauty of Rent frock Repeat – you get to wear a new dress for every occasion. It’s easy to rent and return and truly no hassles. It’s like you get to be the belle of the ball without ever wearing the same dress twice! A phenomenal idea from an amazing group of knowledgeable, patient (especially with me :)) and kind stylists. They really knew their stuff!

I left with an online portfolio of my top choices and next time I have an event to go to, I’ll be sure to visit Rent frock Repeat!
