😋 SWISS CHALET –  G I V E A W A Y 😋

Attention mamas: Family Day is fast approaching and I’m so excited to be partnering with one of my favourite dining spots, Swiss Chalet. [ad]

Swiss Chalet is more than just quarter chicken and fries, it’s a Canadian institution and I ❤️ it!

One lucky mama in Canada will WIN a whopping $200 e-gift card to Swiss Chalet!!

Swiss Chalet e-gift cards do NOT expire and can be used any time via any channel (dine-in, pickup, takeout, delivery, online, mobile app).

Now that’s an impressive prize!

See the official contest post HERE!

Now I want to know: what would you like to see restaurants do or serve more of to cater directly to your kid(s)?

Good luck!!

I would to see more allergy friendly options! Also, healthier and just smaller portions of actual meals in adult menu as options for kids. Thank you

My daughters absolutely lovvve macaroni so it would be nice if swiss chalet had that option. Don’t get me wrong, they love their cheeseburger, Pizza and fries but we get Swiss chalet every Friday and it would be nice to change it up a bit

I would LOVE to see all restaurants increase awareness of allergies and be “allergy friendly”. Those of us in the allergy world may be limited in places to dine. Honestly, Swiss Chalet has been our “go to” restaurant for special occasions as they have been able to accommodate my family’s allergies. I don’t go to many chain restaurants, but soooo thankful that Swiss Chalet can be found almost any where we go.
Thank you Swiss Chalet for allowing my family to experience dining out. ❤️

I absolutely love this. It’s so great to hear they’ve been very accommodating. I agree with you, not all restaurants have adapted with the times and may kids and adults alike have terrifying allergies. Thanks for sharing your story!

I would like to see more restaurants offer real food on their menus in children’s portions. My kids love meals rather than mini pizzas or chicken nuggets but can’t do a regular portion size.

I would love to see more child options on the menu .I have 5 granddaughters and not all of them like hot dogs ,pizza or chicken nuggets .My oldest loves the chicken pot pie and my 8 year old loves tje ribs .They should have choices of regular food off the menu just in child size .Also they could add mac and cheese for little ones as well.

More options in the menu and have the waitress or waiter promise the kids a small prize if they are good and eat their food !
Of course they would get it regardless but it would make it exciting!

I would love to see more restaurants openly have a menu that makes the kids meals adult sized or a “bigger kids menu” As a mom of a child with exceptionalities that eats more than a child size portion, but still wants those items (ex pasta with cheese sauce, no garnish, chicken fingers and fries, ice cream still comes for dessert etc). Also, with it being 2021, there should be more variety and availability of lactose free and celiac friendly options for kids so that they don’t always just get stuck with veggies as an appetizer. With things like cauliflower crust and lactose free cheese, amazing garlic breads could be made!!

My kids MISS the chicken sandwich that they used to be able to get from Swiss Chalet! Please bring it back to the kids menu! We had a Swiss Chalet Christmas in 2020 – it literally saved me so much effort to order two big Family festive meals at the last minute on Christmas Eve – every thing cut in quarters – we had so much food for seven – (my five kids love to eat!!) (plus my mom) and had leftovers galore. My mouth is watering when I think about it lol – but I love the rotisserie chicken, the chicken pot pie, the fresh cut fries, the chalet sauce – the stuffing was amazing and of course the roll. Really hope we can have it again soon. Crossing fingers! 🤞🏽

My grandchildren love going to Swiss Chalet I think their menu is good but maybe add an older kids menu with larger portions. I also feel that provided some sort of kids activity bag with a small book or crayons and colouring material would be a great addition.

Try offering different kinds of “dressed up” veggies so kids find them attractive enough to eat them. Eg. Veggies with eyes, smiles, scarfs etc. all made with edible ingredients
